2 I might go! Add to calendar 2013-04-21 2013-04-21 35 Corey Mwamba/Dave Kane/Joshua Blackmore at Improvfest 13 at 7Arts Centre, Leeds Corey Mwamba vibes, Dave Kane bass, Joshua Blackmore drums

ImprovFest 2013 features Leeds bassist Dave Kane who has been at cutting edge of British Jazz for several years now and works extensively both in the UK and abroad. He is the founder of a creative musicians' collective the Improvised Music Association (LIMA) that is now widely respected amongst the UK jazz writers.

Our “ImprovFest 2013” features Dave in two bands on two consecutive Sunday afternoons – the first is vibesman Corey Mwamba and drummer Josh Blackmore

“Corey Mwamba is turning out to be something of a force of nature, an incredible vibes player with a thirst for experimentation that means we've no idea what to expect, except that it'll be well worth seeing. Dave Kane and Troyka's Josh Blackmore are about as a good a rhythm section as you could ask for working in contemporary jazz today” - Manchester Jazz Festival .

Mwamba/Kane/Blackmore's latest album is “Don’t overthink it”
