A rare and highly anticipated performance by the revered, enigmatic and magnetic saxophonist/composer, Steve Williamson, described as "one of the most distinctive saxophone voices in contemporary British jazz". Williamson led the original Jazz Warriors, alongside Courtney Pine and others, who made a huge impact on the UK scene from the mid-1980s.

Performing with his powerhouse young trio and members of Tomorrow’s Warriors StringTing, he explores the elements that link contemporary classical and progressive jazz composition in a show that premiered recently at the South Bank Centre.
